Business Account Services Senior - Swansea - Salary Market Rate depending on experience


A fantastic opportunity with a leading Welsh Accountancy firm to join their busy Swansea office in the Business Services Team. You will be joining a well-known and well respected firm with a great reputation in the industry.

Role Description

The role will include:
Planning and carrying out audit fieldwork, statutory reporting and completion work, along with general accounting compliance work
Preparation of annual financial statements from incomplete records and various accounting software packages
Preparation of periodic management accounts using various accounting software packages, including Sage 50
Ad hoc book-keeping assistance using various accounting software packages, including Sage 50 Advising clients on accounting / general business matters
Demonstrating awareness of compliance legislation e.g. VAT, tax, PAYE Preparation of VAT returns

Person Specification:

The prospective candidate will:
Hold a professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified)
Have experience of using Sage / Xero software
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
An ability to produce high level written reports
Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Experience of working on cross-functional teams/projects
Experience of using automated accounting software packages, particularly Sage, Xero and CCH products
