The commercial finance function is one of the most dynamic business partnering functions within the business therefore the successful commercial finance analyst who joins the team will be a confident individual, able to business partner non finance teams, particularly marketing in order to ensure they make sound financial decisions. This will involve:

* Providing insightful analysis and commentary
* Identifying commercial opportunities with group commercial teams and tracking these through to completion.
* Ensuring marketing spend is reported accurately
* Presenting this to both senior finance stakeholders on the head of marketing on a monthly basis.

In order to deliver this you must be capable of getting into the detail and getting your hands dirty with spreadsheets and models but also be able to take a high level commercial view and present this information and your commercial thoughts / insights to senior leadership teams and be confident enough to influence them on the best course of action.

As an individual you are likely to have a strong academic background and a track record of achievement in your career to date. You may be a newly qualified ACA from big 4 practice or ACCA/CIMA Qual from industry; you should have a flair for commercial finance and be looking to work in an exciting, dynamic and driven team.
