A Private Equity backed International Consumer business based in Central London are looking to recruit an ambitious, commercially astute FP&A Manager. This is a rare opportunity to make a real impact within a multi-national organisation by liaising and working with the departmental heads, including the Buying and Merchandising Directors. You will be continuously developing and maintaining non finance relationships as well as identifying and delivering operational improvements.
Reporting in to the Head of Finance, you will be expected to provide support, whilst challenging the senior business team in the formulation and delivery of both business as usual, change programme plans and delivery of financial targets.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Establishing and communicating the planning timetable, process and guidelines to stakeholders including management of templates and deliverables
- Agreeing rigorous financial performance targets with Leadership team, based on internal and market factors (both historic and predictions)
- Managing existing and new modelling tools to support the three year business plan, annual budget and monthly forecast
- Monthly forecasting of business performance (including sales, margin, operating and departmental costs and capital investment
- Monitoring weekly business performance, attending weekly trading meeting to understand impact of current trade on forecast
- Delivering presentational outputs for discussion with Executive Team and Board
The FP&A Manager must possess the ability to understand trends and results (at both a detailed and strategic level) and to identify vital connections between the two. This position plays an important role in developing analysis and identifying financial trends, understanding drivers of actual results compared to forecast and budget, and leveraging those analyses into deliverable guidance / recommendations to business heads across the business.
The successful candidate will be Qualified with 1- 4 years post qualified experience (CIMA, ACCA, ACA), who is looking to drive their career forward in a fast paced environment. You with a proven track record of working and building relationships with non-finance, as well as possessing strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
