JasperRose are exclusively recruiting for a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, working for a FTSE, international consumer business, based in Central London.  Due to internal promotion, this opportunity will report into the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, with significant interaction with both the CFO and different Directors and Heads of across the Group.

As a senior member of the FP&A team, this high-profile role is responsible for analysing and reporting the drivers behind the Group’s financial results. With 3 direct reports (Qualified Accountants), your team will be responsible for providing insight for both internal management reporting, and all external financial reporting, including the quarterly trading statements, the interim and preliminary announcements, and the front half of the annual report.

Responsibilities include:

  • Month end reporting pack, clearly articulating the key regional and corporate drivers of Group performance versus Budget, Forecast and Prior Year, through detailed analysis of results and liaison with local teams. Present output to SVP of Finance and the Group CFO. Draft monthly report analysing the results for the Board.
  • Providing analysis and insight to the Investor Relations team on a wide range of areas. Includes completion and presentation of pack in advance of quarterly trading announcements.
  • Providing detailed information and analysis to the business on Group sales, for both reporting actual results and also for the budget and forecast.
  • Coaching, developing and challenging your team of three. Responsible for retaining talent with a long term strategic mind-set and consideration for the ongoing evolution of Finance
  • Continuously seeking to improve processes, controls and the quality and timeliness of the team’sdeliverables.
     

The successful candidate will a be Qualified Finance Professional with an excellent academic track record. You will have previous experience within FP&A, operating at a senior level, in a large, multi-national organisation.

With a number of Senior stakeholders, with competing priorities, it is essential you can prioritise effectively and communicate clearly. You will have strong track record of managing and developing staff and be able to demonstrates a commercial mind-set in work performed and in all interactions with the business.
