Assistant Accountant

Badenoch & Clark are delighted to be partnering a well established services business located in Crawley for the recruitment of Assistant Accountant. This is a very exciting opportunity for an ambitious studier to join a flourishing commercial finance team. This role will be a mixture of accounting, business partnering and analysis. The successful candidate will be rewarded with ACCA or CIMA study support.


Due to the nature of the role you will ideally match the following:

*Studying towards ACCA or CIMA
*Experience of working within a commercial environment and able to give examples of how you have delivered financial information to non-finance staff
*Exposure to assisting with the production of management accounts
*Experience of both assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process

Key responsibilities:
*Assist with the production of the monthly management accounts
*Assist with analysing and reporting e.g. overhead costs, debt and gross margin performance
*Responsible for highlighting performance issues in order to maximise profitability and cashflow
*Assist with the production of the budgeting and forecasting process
*Deliver financial and commercial information in order to achieve strategic goals
*Contribute to the analysis of financial data and support both the operational and finance team
*Ensure internal and external deadlines are adhered to
*Responsible for variance analysis
