Financial Accountant

Our client is a fantastic, diversified global business that is massively growing and that operates in the media industry. This fast paced market leader is looking for a hands on finance professional with strong technical accounting skills and a good VAT experience.

As a Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

• Monthly and yearly budgeting and forecasting
• Tax calculations (VAT returns)
• Bank and balance sheet reconciliations for multiple entities
• Monthly and yearly reporting packs
• Prepayments, accruals and assisting with the preparation of the Statutory accounts

In order to be a successful candidate, you will have to meet the following criteria:

• Newly qualified or ACCA/CIMA finalist
• Good VAT experience
• SAP knowledge
• Previous experience working in a media or entertainment business
• UK and US GAAP experience
• Solid understanding of debits and credits and their impact
• A self-starter that can work with little direction
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment
