Our client is a successful services company based in South East London, and they are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Payroller/Payroll Manager to oversee the payroll function and ensuring monthy salaries are processed and paid. Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for the following: Producing payroll for around 1500 employees paid monthly. Dealing with the Inland Revenue; Resolving all payroll queries; Issuing P11D's, P45's, P35's and preparing monthly PAYE and revenue RTI returns; Ensure compliance with HRMC requirements: good knowledge of HMRC procedures/RTI; Working with vetting team and follow up on expiry of Visas to ensure continued right to work in the UK; Provide support to the Directors, HR Manager, Regional Directors and Managers; Manage and action all items for Auto enrolment and other pensions; Attachment of earnings and other payments; Responding to HMRC and other entities for payroll related matters; Managing and supporting the payroll assistant; Providing all Year end submissions
To be considered for this position, candidates ideally will have the following experience/skills/qualifications; Member of Institute for Payroll professionals (IPP) or equivalent through work experience; Up to date knowledge of Real Time Information (RTI); Experience with auto enrolment; Confidentiality is essential to this role; Good experience with Excel and CSV files (preferable); Willingness to learn new software when applicable; Excellent attention to detail; Keeping up to date with relevant legislation. Salary is offered between £ 40-45k + 25 days holiday + pension + local parking.
