Financial Accountant

Our client, a fast paced technology business based in North Cambridge, are looking for a Financial Accountant on a 12 month maternity contract.

This role is a key part of the core finance team and will assist the Financial Controller in ensuring the monthly finance process and all it's components are seamlessly executed.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your key responsibilities will include:

• Monthly consolidation of Management Accounts and board report for review
• Monthly payroll information preparation
• Quarterly rolling forecasts
• Prepare monthly revenue reports
• Preparing and posting month end journals - including revenue recognition
• Finance metrics tracking
• Multicurrency cashlfow monitoring and forecasting on a weekly basis
• Review departmental variance reports prior to internal distribution
• Variance report review
• Annual audit preparation

Suitable applicants will be qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA and experienced, ideally from the technology sector, or if not, from an R&D background of some kind.
