Reporting to the Head of ICT Commercial Finance within the Business Finance Team supporting the Enterprise P&L

The role supports our growth ambitions in the ICT space providing customers with end-to-end communications solutions.

Your role
Supporting the Head of ICT Commercial Finance to deliver the best-balanced outcome for Telefonica UK and the customer.

Influence decisions for the benefit of the business based on risk mitigation, commercial positioning and inherent profitability.

Responsibilities
-With the support of the Head of ICT Commercial Finance, driving the business performance of the Enterprise P&L through providing:
-Financial modelling of deal scenarios to support bid teams
-Commercial insight (based on other internal deals or previous experiences)
-Provide financial and decision support to Telefonica UK Enterprise Sales Channel
-Identification, assessment & measurement of risk
-Challenge the sales team to gain the right balance between customer needs and the need to deliver and exceed the Enterprise budget

-Providing Finance representation at Customer Meetings, Sales Team meetings
-[Note - Meetings can be held at other O2 sites and off-site locations e.g. customer sites or O2 stores]

-Develop a good understanding of the mobile and non-mobile products and markets.

-Working with the products teams to develop commercial insight and influence proposition development.

-Any other ad hoc requests required by the Business.

Demonstrable Experience
-Ability to challenge and influence up and down the organisation
-Financially very strong to appreciate the financial, commercial design and return potential of complex contracts
-Good presentation and communication skills
-Ability to prioritise & work to tight deadlines
-Excellent analytical skills - particularly on MS Excel
-Self-motivated with minimal need for direction or supervision

Essential Qualifications
Reasonable knowledge of the UK ICT market and telecommunications experience would be advantageous
Commercial experience
Contract knowledge
Accountancy background and training desirable but not essential - Qualified CIMA or similar.
