Temp Management Accountant - SAP Business By Design

A new and growing urban innovation charity in state of the art offices in central London is seeking a talented Management Accountant for a temporary role. The organisation focuses on enabling UK-Based start-ups and more established businesses develop transformational products and services, identifying prototypes and connecting innovators to opportunities.

The role will involve:

-Ensure the purchases and sales ledgers are maintained appropriately in an accurate, robust, reliable and timely manner

-Maintain and submit VAT submissions to HMRC

-Maintain clear financial processes between the parent company and its subsidiary

-Preparation of month end journals as required

-Prepare the monthly management pack

-Assist as necessary in the Annual Budget setting process and submission to IUK

-Production of monthly SL and PL reconciliations in accordance with agreed timetables

-Manage the workflow of PO’s, expenses, payments and timesheet approvals through the SAP system

-Maintain the integrity of the SAP Business ByDesign system

-Assist in the preparation the statutory accounts and audit file

Candidate requirements:

-Experience of SAP or other ERP accounting systems essential – ideally SAP Business By Design

-Desire to work in a fast-paced, changing environment is crucial

-Fully-qualified AAT, or minimum part-qualified CIMA, ACA, ACCA

-Strong practical experience in a management accounting function

-Experience of preparing and submitting VAT returns

-Strong excel skills - including Vlookup, pivot table.

-Experience working in a commercial finance function strongly desired
