FP&A Manager

Blackwaters is recruiting an FPA Manager for a fast paced and multinational company at the height of growth.

You will be working within an established financial department, providing commercial support to Directors and reporting to board members regularly

Key responsibilities will include:

Financial Analysis 

• Development and review of Key Performance Indicators for the analytical review on monthly performance identifying trends and underlying rates, interpreting the data
• Work closely with commercial analysts on economic trends and market movements
• Assist with bid appraisal and investment opportunities
• Providing ad hoc forward looking analysis where requested

Budgets

• Coordination and production of the three-year plan and submission to Group with re-forecasting as required
• Detailed analytical review of the budget submissions ensuring robustness and completeness of submissions.
• Applying business knowledge to sense check and challenge bridge analysis
• Understanding of business risks and opportunities

Management Reporting and Analysis

• Understand and report the financial position of functions to include presentation to senior finance and board level
• Provide data and analysis to Group Finance to include investor data and any other ad hoc requests
• Build relationships with key business partners across the business and group functions
• Develop, coach and support direct reports
• Support the Central Finance team and Group Finance team with any other ad hoc duties as may be required from time to time

Experience

• Previous experience in analytics
• Strong business awareness coupled with a desire to influence the operations of the business
• Demonstrable experience of planning
• Technically competent and skilled in the use of MS Excel

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant & Excellent analytical and financial modelling skill
• Direct line management experience
• Relevant industry experience desirable
