Finance Business Partner

About the company

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing SME in the Food Consumer business. Our client’s new division is 3.5 months old, and is currently producing 500k packed units a week for their leading retail clients. Current turnover is <£15M per annum, but potential to triple in the near future due to accelerated growth and significant contracts.

You will support active dialogue on opportunities with other Retailers/Coffee shops/and the wider businesses. Support a strong drive to innovate, in-source some production and drive lean manufacturing efficiencies. The Senior Team are all in place, and you will be supported by the SSC for all back office finance activities allowing you to focus on the commercial and adding value to the business.

Specifically on the finance role

This role reports to the FD with a 2-site remit.

You will frequently deputise with Senior Team, and key full-time finance resource on site.

Responsible for :

• Profitability, costing, other business opportunities
• Weekly management reporting, but not month end (covered by SSC)
• Forecasting and tracking of CI benefits
• Local CapEx initiatives and payback
• KPI’s and highlighting business issues/opportunities

Experience in manufacturing highly desirable, ideally food
