Established in the mid 1980’s as a fencing contractor, with supply to trade outlets commencing 10 years later, our client has become the leading UK wholesale supplier of gate and fencing accessories. Known nationwide for their unbeatable quality and unrivalled customer service, they have a huge network of stockists and they sell the largest range of gate and fencing accessories on the market today.

Their mission is to provide their customers with simple, honest, on-time, quality service and they are now looking for a Sales Ledger Controller to ensure the maintenance of customer accounts and manage the invoicing process from start to finish.

Dealing with customer queries on invoicing and credit accounts, you will set up new accounts on their accounting system, obtain credit reports / references and gain approval for new credit account requests received by the business. Raising regular sales invoices and credit notes, you will calculate customer rebates and contact customers to collect any outstanding debt.

They are looking for a pro-active individual who is willing to take responsibility for a process from start to finish. An advanced user of Microsoft Excel, you will have previous experience of an accounting role to include sales ledger and debt collection. There is potential for the role to take on further responsibility in the future so an eagerness to learn and develop is a prerequisite.

Their offices will be re-locating to Stokenchurch in January 2018. Should the successful candidate live near Stokenchurch, our client will pay travel expenses until the office move is complete.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 08:00 until 17:00.
