Management Accountant

We’re searching for an ambitious management accountant with direct experience in Financial Services. A self-motivated, driven management accountant will thrive in this growing business, joining a great team who will help you learn and develop.


Main Responsibilities:

·         Preparation of monthly management accounts, including commentaries on variances and stand-out items

·         Preparation of statutory accounts, and liaison with external auditors

·         Forecasting using modelling skills within Excel. Analysis of the current models, and make improvements where necessary

·         Prepare and present key findings to the board and senior stakeholders

·         Participating in project work when needed, including due diligence work and financial analysis

·         Support senior decision makes on the financial impact of investment decisions.

·         Contribute to the development of financial systems and processes.

·         Liaison with other finance functions, and responding to queries on revenues and management information

 

Key Skills and Experience:

·         Significant experience of working within a financial services business. Please only apply if this is the case.

·         Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA.

·         Strong excel skills (to vlookups and pivot standard)

·         Great communication skills

·         Drive to pick up extra project work and find solutions to problems.

·         Experience of SUN accounts is desirable.
