Finance Director
Our client, a world-leading manufacturing company, is seeking to connect with a first-class Finance Director to lead, direct and manage all aspects of the finance activities and IT/IS functions to ensure that business continuity of operations is maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring robust financial control within the business
- Leading and developing a Finance team capable of supporting a growing business on a global basis
- Providing commercial and business support
- Managing and leading process improvement and improvement programmes across the regional functional operations
- Providing support on M&A and investment appraisal
- Contributing to the development and execution of the business strategy
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified accountant (ACA or CIMA)
- Proven experience in a FD / CFO role for a major company or division of a SME size corporation
- Manufacturing sector experience is essential
- Hands on operational and strategic experience
- Proven success of providing hands on leadership to a finance team, as well as other, non-finance areas, is essential
- International / multi-cultural experience
- Experience with the process of assessment and acquisition of companies
- Experience and knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques & implementing Lean projects would be an advantage
- Intellectual, solid communication skills, team player
