Reporting Accountant

Blackwaters is recruiting a Group Account for a multinational, innovative company based.

The role will be assisting the Financial Controller in all aspects of their financial reporting processes.

A varied role, this will provide excellent scope across the business and allow the successful candidate an opportunity to grow and develop as the business has done successfully year on year through acquisition and organic growth.

Key Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Reconciling and consolidation of multi entities
• Preparation of adjustments
• Preparation of monthly consolidations including calculations and supporting schedules
• Preparing related reporting analysis as required by parent company
• Assisting in responses to group queries
• Ownership and mangement of balance sheet, fixed assets and additional adhoc requirements 
• Preparation and updating policies and preparing analysis in line with IFRS accounting standard and their impact
• Work across the business with commercial departments and stakeholders
• Reviewing and approval of management accounts

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

• Relevant accounting qualification (ACA,ACCA,CIMA)
• Strong financial accounting experience
• Experience of consolidation of subsidiaries 
• FRS Knowledge
• Strong data manipulation and communication skills
• Interpersonal skills will be key to be successful within this role due to the nature of working within a team as well as autonomously
• Strong organisational skills and deadline oriented mindset
