You will be responsible for all aspects of the global implementation of the Group ERP and associated systems as they relate to Finance.

Description

This role takes the lead on all aspects of ERP planning and integration as relating to my cleints Finance team. It includes, but is not bound to:

  • Be part of the project team and take an active interest in the work of other teams, especially in interfacing functions.
  • Communicate with site team and coordinate data cleansing efforts.
  • Represent the user interests in the implementation process. This includes identifying process and functional gaps to the project management and providing standardised solutions that can be included in the business systems template.
  • Identify and implement business process improvements and changes.
    • Act as the transformation agent to identify process improvement opportunities within the new business software application.

    • Thoroughly test the software and associated procedures to confirm that the primary business requirements are met. Generate full test cases for every business covered by the solution and contribute to integration test cases and the elaboration of a test plan for every site. Monitoring the execution of the test plan in their functional area and resolve any issues arising from this.

    • Be responsible to test any upgrades, fixes and patches before release into production environment

    • Creation and validation of KPIs, in process validation reports and exception management processes incl. Triggers

    • Responsible for achieving CRP readiness of their functional area, including documentation, reports, KPIs, Triggers, business docs as well as base business processes.

    • Input issues into the issues log that surface during configuration, training or other team activities and also follow-through on resolution of those issues

    • Highlight any project risks (risks and opportunities) to the project manager so they can be recorded in the risk register and escalated to steering committee where required

  • Contribute to status reporting across all above mentioned areas of responsibility
