Role Profile:
In joining the Corporate Functions team here at Group Enterprise, you will support our people in strengthening our position as an admired company in the eyes of our customers, shareholders and employees. The team is varied; you could be working within Human Resources, Finance, Legal or External Affairs. What links us all together is that we are all customer obsessed, innovation hungry and ambitious! Joining us as a Contract Business Accountant we ask are you?
As a Contract Business Accountant you will manage Group Enterprise’s most complex and strategic deals (€10m-€100m Total Contract Value) financial P&L and balance sheet throughout the awarded bid’s lifecycle from contract award to the end of implementation.
Key Accountabilities:
- You will govern in-life contract changes through the agreed governance matrix ensuring senior partners are briefed and governance is carried out on all relevant changes and that profits are maximised and risks reduced to an acceptable level.
- You will provide monthly reporting on bid actual assessments including but not limited to forecasts and project stage completion assessments on complex contracts to ensure that any significant variances are quantified and taken through governance.
- You will identify any financial risks and develop mitigation plans associated with the customer P&L, customer contract and supplier relationships / contracts
Your Profile:
Essential:
- Strong analytical decision making skills, including the ability to balance conflicting interests and make decisions based on incomplete or unreliable information and can structure deals to improve profits
- Demonstrable track record of undertaking complex contractual commercial and financial analysis, preferably in blue chip corporate and/or telecoms
- Communication of complex financial and commercial terms, risks and contract changes and conditions to senior management teams
- Able to deal with multiple and conflicting priorities to tight deadlines
- Advanced knowledge and experience of using Microsoft excel to model and forecast complex commercial agreements
- Professional qualification in accounting (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
