Who we are looking for
You’re totally comfortable with analysing large volumes of data. It’s what makes you tick. You have great PC and Excel skills, are detail and process obsessed and you’re used to juggling conflicting priorities. You’re also highly customer-focussed, so you’ll challenge and push us to improve and you relish the prospect of change. Skills like these, have come from the solid experience you’ve already gained by working in a finance environment – which includes your ability to produce balance sheet reconciliations of a high standard. And if you’ve come from a multi-site environment, then all the better.
A bit about the role
As we grow, our portfolio of fixed assets naturally grows with us. You’ll take control of a specific section, running its accurate and effective administration – tracking and reporting everything in your remit. Part of that will be ensuring that the fixed assets, projects and GL ledgers are fully reconciled and controlled, but you’ll also look at the bigger picture. As you spot room for positive change, you’ll flag it up. And, even better, make recommendations as to how we can do better – whether that’s a new process, or a way to deliver greater customer satisfaction. Proactive in all you do, you’ll also manage any day-to-day tasks and ad-hoc projects to ensure we’re delivering an efficient, added-value service to our customers. You’ll also support broader financing programmes and make sure your fixed assets systems continually reflect any changes. It’s a broad role, where you’ll how your attention to detail impacts on our future.
