They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join their team based in Gloucester.

Within the role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation, analysis and presentation of financial management information for several branches across our social housing division.

The successful Management Accountant will prepare financial MI from source data alongside analysing, challenging and interrogating stakeholders/ systems in order to understand variances to expectations and emerging trends. Maintaining balance sheets accurately and comprehensively, you will support in the preparation of branch annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.Candidates for this role will assist regional financial teams and local operations in work in progress management and production of cash forecasts/ cash collection. In addition, you will support the Senior Management Accountant in ad hoc projects and the provision of information as and when required.

With experience of dealing with high volume, low value transactions, you will be a qualified or part qualified accountant. The successful candidate will have experience of manipulating large volumes of date coupled outstanding attention to detail and the ability to prepare accurate outputs. A proficient user of IT, you will be an advanced user of Excel and possess the ability to build relationships remotely with finance and non-finance colleagues. Moreover, they are looking for an inquisitive and tenacious individual who has the drive and passion to succeed.

A study package would be available for the successful candidate working towards their professional qualification.
