EMEA SSC Director Staines£90,000 - 110,000 + plus car allowance + corporate benefits

Our client is a leading US headquartered corporation. They have a unique opportunity for a top calibre individual to head up the implementation of a state of the art EMEA shared service centre with the goal of creating a best in class finance function.

Reporting to the EMEA CEO your key responsibilities will include:
*Managing, developing and leading the shared service centre team of 30 individuals based throughout EMEA
*Devise and implement a succession planning strategy for each of the units throughout the EMEA region
*Ensure that accounting standards are in compliance with USGAAP and SOX and in accordance with company policies
*To build robust and sustainable relationships with key stakeholders throughout EMEA.
*Ensure monthly accounts are delivered in a timely and accurate manner with meaningful and commercially insightful commentary

Candidate Profile:
*Degree educated and qualified accountant with at least 5 years post qualification experience in a US corporate.
*Excellent and proven leadership and people management skills
*Must have previous experience of managing and implementing a Shared Service Centre
*Demonstrable track record of working with senior management to build high performing teams
*The ability to adapt to changes within a fast paced global corporation.
