The Consultancy Group are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to join a fast growth Retail SME based in North London. Reporting into the MD of the business, the Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing the finance function for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Line management of the finance team
- Preparation of all statutory, tax & legal returns
- Publishing of board and monthly management accounts
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Development & Implementation of financial and administrative policies and procedures in line with best practise.
- Line management of the finance team
Key Skills:
- Qualified Accountant with minimum of 5 years post qualified experience
- Proven leadership skills
- Experience at senior finance level, having completed statutory accounts and audit sign off.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and an ability to work under pressure
- Excellent Communication skills
- Excel (advanced level), Competence in the use of MS Word, and Outlook
