It is a dynamic business having grown both by acquisitions and organically. The UK business is a sizeable operation, employing over 8000 staff across 200+ locations.

Reporting to: Corporate Audit Senior

Job Summary: 

Responsible for assisting with the execution of a variety of financial, operational and SOX audits and special projects.

Essential Job Duties:

• Liaising with the team in performing financial, operational and SOX audits according to the annual risk assessment and audit plan. Helping in coordinating testing for SOX with external auditors.
• Keeping abreast of changes in audit and accounting professional standards.
• Preparing objective, accurate and factual analysis for seniors.
• Monitoring [together with the senior’s] management's achievement of committed action plans from prior audits to ensure identified issues were appropriately and completely addressed.
• Assisting external auditors in performing audit procedures as requested.
• Assisting the senior’s in developing audit programs by determining the audit objectives, procedures and internal controls required to ensure that Company policies and procedures are operating as management intends.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Domestic and international travel from c30-40%

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good A Level results in Maths / Accounting
• 1st or 2:1 University Degree in Accounting, Business and Finance
• Studying or wanting to study an accounting qualification

Desirable Experience:

Completed 1 or 2 years at the Big 4 / Top 10 and wants to move into industry
