Chief Financial Officer

Your new company
My client are a leading provider of software in the gambling market and also a sports betting, gaming and lottery operator in emerging countries. They are headquartered in London and have 450 employees across the globe. Established 10 years ago, this business is a high growth, fast paced SME led by an entrepreneurial CEO.

Your new role
The role of CFO will lead an experienced group finance function of 6 in London and liaise with finance teams locally. The position will report directly into the CEO and be responsible for being able to provide a true picture of the business numbers, having a focus on the analysis and presentation of the performance of each business unit and country.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Driving monthly, quarterly and year end close activity - Managing a team of 6
• Directing the teams completion of c20 sets of UK & International stat accounts
• Preparing board-level commentary on financial performance
• Management of the relationship with auditors
• Driving tax strategy and implementation

This is a senior level position were you must be able to apply analytical, accounting, business, and leadership acumen to ensure proper allocation of resources to positively impact bottom line.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have trained in a practice and be comfortable leading a team of 6 direct reports and additional international reports. This role would suit a candidate who has had experience in industry in a controller focused role, or a candidate who is looking to make their first move from practice at a senior level.
Fluency in French is necessary.
