Financial Controller

The Company

A growing, profitable £multi million revenue SME in the services sector. The company operates from its head office in South London / Surrey.

They are now seeking a Financial Controller, reporting to the Finance Director.

The Role - Financial Controller (reporting to finance director)

This is a key role within the company as it grows, managing the small finance department and supporting management across the business.

Responsibilities include:

• management of the finance function and a small team
• management accounting, forecasting, budgeting, board pack and commentary
• revenue and cashflow management
• developing financial controls and processes
• partnering, providing management information and supporting operations, sales and management
• VAT and payroll management

CANDIDATES

This is an excellent role in a team and people orientated company with good prospects for career development as the company grows.

Candidates should be qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CA) with experience in a senior finance or controller role and have staff management experience. Good leadership skills, team orientated with deep management and financial accounting skills are required.

Experience in a high volume transaction environment in sectors such as healthcare, medical, legal, insurance or other services sectors would be advantageous
