A job as a Syndicate Accountant as opened in a market leading Lloyd's insurance business with offices in major cities around the globe is looking to hire a syndicate accountant within its London finance team. With its unique position in the Lloyd's market, this company deploys many underwriters in a wider variety of the major insurance areas. Situated in Central London, you will be in the heart of the largest and most influence insurance markets in the world.

Your new role

In this job you will have responsibility for the production of the Lloyd's returns along with the Statutory reporting of the various syndicates. As well as the reporting functions, you will also be involved in the creation of analytical tools and memos to aid in the engagement with the underwriters, actuaries and treasury teams to help them more fully understand their performance and how best to operate along with this you will add value to the business by helping in the development of analytical tools and memos to help understand how the Syndicate business is developing.

• Key responsibility for the Lloyd's returns of the various syndicates.
• Statutory reporting for the various syndicates
• Production of analytical tools and memos to help in understanding of the figures

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an Insurance Industry trained Qualified Accountant, looking for first move post qualification exams. Syndicate experience would be preferable but not essential.
