Financial Accountant in a European focused Legal Firm £50,000 to £55,000 based City of London

An European focused legal firm based in the City of London. This firm is at the fore front of European corporate law and works with the world biggest corporations to help them operate within European law. With the developing situation around Brexit this legal firm is going through major growth as it advises Corporations on the current climate.

Your new role

As the Financial Accountant you will be responsible for all the statutory reporting of the UK division of this Legal Firm, reporting into the Group Financial Accountant. You will work under IFRS and UK GAAP to deliver the legally required reports. A big part of your role will be liaising with the Manchester, Edinburgh and Aberdeen office to collate the financial reports as you prepare the statutory reports. You will also liaise with the European offices to aid them in their filtering up of financial reports to the Group Financial Accountant who you report to. You will work closely with the Group Financial Accountant and will receive training from this individual with a view to succeeding them in a few years.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a Top 10 trained newly qualified ACA looking for their first move into industry. You will also have experience with auditing Legal or LLP clients.
