Financial Controller
The Opportunity:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller in an Advertising-Technology business backed by private equity.
They are a brilliant brand with a growing client base that you will have the opportunity to work along-side and run with.
Having developed an excellent & unique technology, this exciting business works with a multitude of premium publishers and recognised brands.
2017 is a crucial year for the business, they have just received funding from stakeholders and are looking for an enthusiastic and experience FC to support a CFO of extremely high calibre.
Financial Controller The Role:
In this role you will have the opportunity to be particularly hands on whilst maintaining responsibility for the accurate presentation of management accounts reports & monthly board packs.
This will require an individual with a good technical skill set but also the commercial acumen to produce weekly & monthly sales figures and present to senior stakeholders.
Furthermore you will be in control of budgets & forecasts whilst owning the sales cycle, KPI’s and pipeline management. Moreover management of financial controls, month-end and overseeing AP & AR functions will be important. However experience around cash management and cash-flow is key. Other ad hoc activities will include PAYE / Payroll and managing one direct report.
The Requirements:
- Fully qualified (ACA/CIMA or ACCA)
- Degree Educated
- Minimum 3 years PQE
- SME experience
- Experienced in media and / or ad-tech sector (desirable)
- Detailed knowledge of UK Gaap, FRS102
- Previous experience with Salesforce (preferred)
- Advanced Excel modelling skills (essential)
- Proven background in process improvement and development
- Outgoing & strong people management skills
- Credibility with non-finance colleagues
