Accounts Assistant / Cash Analyst - Real Estate - London. OUR CLIENT are a large real estate finance company, investing and lending on behalf of their clients and investor bodies. The company are very well-established and growing in the market. They have exclusively instructed us to recruit a part-qualified (AAT / ACCA) to take a position as a Cash Management Database Analyst to load all cash transactions across multiple bank accounts onto the Cash Management Database, as well as liaising closely with the investment accountants to ensure payment run files are complete, accurate and sent to the fund administrators.

 

THE ROLE will include but is not limited to:

  • Performing Core Cash Management.
  • Uploading all bank account transactions onto the Cash Management Database on a daily basis.
  • Performing daily analysis of cash movements in deal bank accounts.
  • Comparing these transactions to the Property Status Tracker within the database and matching receipts to properties and units sold.
  • Maintaining regular interaction with the Property and Workout Teams (and external partners where appropriate) to ensure expected receipts are received on time.
  • Running the accounts payable process for all applicable funds under management.
  • Reviewing AP invoices and checking payment details have been entered correctly and that the appropriate level of sign-off has been given for the payment.
  • Preparing payment run files for review by investment accountants before onwards provision to fund administrators.
  • Setting up bank account signatories upon acquisition of a new deal.
  • Liaising with Operations Team to feedback improvements for the Cash Management Database and SharePoint approvals environment.

 

The PERSON: The successful applicant will have a minimum of 1 years Real Estate / Fund Accounting / Financial Administration experience and be studying for AAT / ACCA. Additionally, the successful candidate will ideally have Financial Statements preparation experience alongside at least 1 years' experience of Real Estate Accounting experience. The successful applicant will be proactive, have a strong attention to detail and be willing to 'put in the extra mile' to meet demanding deadlines.
