Description
In this role, you'll provide management accountancy support by providing accurate and insightful information, helping business partners, deans and corporate directors to understand the financial landscapes across the University. You'll prepare monthly reports, cost and pricing analysis and be responsible for analysing income and expenditure variances against budget/forecasts. You'll assist business partners in preparing quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and year end information. You will also be expected to develop and maintain Financial Procedures taking into account operational changes.
Profile
To succeed in this role you will be confident in working and communicating with all levels of staff and senior management. You will need practical experience of working in a medium/large organisation preparing financial reports to short deadlines a high standard, and ideally have had some experience of budgeting and forecasting activity. You'll excel at analysing data and have experience in management reporting, using your communication skills to develop effective relationships with other University staff and external agencies. The ideal candidate will also have recently qualified.
