A popular music label have an exciting opportunity for an Production Accountant to report straight to the Financial Controller and work along- side the commercial team to prepare detailed and accurate production accounts. You will have a love for the music industry and be studying towards an accountancy qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with year-end audit and any other statutory requirements
- Prepare consolidated monthly Production Accounts including detailed balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare bank reconciliations for all investments
- Monitoring and reporting expenditure against budgets
- Undertake any Purchase Orders, Invoice and the Payment process along with Liaising with external partners as required
- Cash flow reporting and management including proactively liaising with AP, AR and Treasury to ensure tasks are being carried out correctly
- Bank Payments review/ sign off
So What Are We Looking For?
- Experience working in the music industry
- Knowledge and experience of financial accounting, procedures and control
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
- A love for music and the music industry
