Your new company
A Newly Created Finance Business Partner opportunity has become available for a commercially focused qualified accountant who has experience in supporting sales and operations. You will be joining a multi-site business that operates nationally supplying some of the UK's most recognised brands and organisations. You will be working our of their Aylesbury site but supporting the group function, working closely with Sales and Operation Directors.

Your new role
As a Finance Business Partner you will be leading the commercial finance contact for the business. You will be responsible for providing financial information to the sales teams, which will impact all aspects such as tenders, pricing and forecasts. You will do this by reviewing all new business opportunities from a financial prospective and be a key part of agreeing these contracts. This will require challenging your sales team and account managers to negotiate to make the contract commercially valuable.

Your role will be responsible for ensuring the profitability of the business by working closely with your sales team to assist with margin and pricing strategies. This will require analysis of all the customer profit & loss to understand the value of each customer and advise on how to improve profits. You will also support the budgeting and forecasting both from a financial and operational perspective.

Along with sales, you will business partner with the Regional Branch Managers, Regional Finance Business Partners and the Factory Managers to contribute to the wider budgeting process. This will mean challenging them to ensure you are receiving accurate information. As the lead for the commercial finance function, you will business partner with senior management and stake holders, providing flash forecasts and contributing to key business decisions.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this Finance Business Partner role you must have previous Business Partnering experience. You must be able to forge strong relationships as this will be key to your success. They are ideally searching for a Qualified CIMA or ACCA accountant who can make an immediate impact.
