Qualified Management Accountant job for £100m t/o manufacturing site near Chester paying up to £40,000
£100m t/o manufacturing site near Chester requires a qualified Management Accountant to support the Group Financial Controller by producing full management accounts for the site and associated variance reports. This company has invested heavily into new production facilities and expanded the dimensions of the warehouse to enable increased turnover. Recent contract wins and acquisitions have seen the business continue to grow.
As Management Accountant you will take responsibility for producing all management accounts and producing detailed commentary for department heads to be presented in monthly management meetings. The business relies heavily on the finance department to produce meaningful analysis, flash reports and ad hoc reporting. You will also support on year end accounting in order to develop your skills and other ad hoc duties such as on-going systems development and capital projects.
In order to succeed in the role you will need to be a qualified accountant (finalists with strong experience will be considered) and ideally have a background and understanding of manufacturing. You will be a confident individual who is comfortable working with non-finance at all levels and getting on to the factory floor on a regular basis.
