12 month maternity cover for a professional services business in central Birmingham. Management Accountant.

Your new company
Growing professional services company based in Central Birmingham who are market specialists. The company are growing and are highly acquisitive. Based in lovely offices within a 5 minute walk of Birmingham New Street station.

Your new role
This is initially a fixed term contract for a period of 12 months to cover a maternity leave. You will report into the Finance Director and be responsible for the preparation of the monthly management accounts. You will ideally be a Qualified or Qualified by Experience Accountant with a proven track record working in a SME business. The ideal candidate will need to be able to start the role in April and commit to a 12 month contract.
The role will involve the production of the monthly accounts and VAT returns. You will also be expected to review process and make improvements and changes to the day to day accounts timetable. A knowledge of Sage Line 50 would also be beneficial.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be able to start the role in April and will be either a Qualified or QBE Management Accountant. An ability to work with minimal supervision and an ability to improve processes are pivotal in this role.
