My client; a leading, national property business with offices in Manchester city centre and London has approached Howarth Morris to recruit for an Assistant Management Accountant. You will have responsibility for assisting in the production of monthly Management Accounts inclusive of multiple P&L and Balance Sheet, and analyse any variances to Budget. Additionally, you will furnish your financial accounting knowledge through assisting in the Year End process. Further commercial exposure will come through ownership of elements for the forecasting and budgeting at the start of each financial year, as well as each Quarter and Year End. Naturally, in business of such scale, you will have some responsibility for complex aspects of inter-company reconciliations with inter Group companies. You will assist with the annual audit.
Whilst having the support of a proven and supportive CIMA Qualified mentor, the Assistant Management Accountant will be organised in managing their own workload within a fast paced, challenging business environment. Your broader finance team is made up of bright, young and ambitious professionals. You will enjoy working as part of a team, and be a strong communicator who can develop relationships at all levels within the business - nationally.
