An exciting opportunity for a talented Assistant Accountant to join a market leading business based in Atherstone.
The role of the Assistant Accountant will play an integral part in the finance team and will plan, analyse and report on the financial and operational performance of the company.
Main duties of the Assistant Accountant role are;
- To provide high quality reporting and analysis for input into decision making.
- Interpret financial performance of the business.
- Produce commentary on factors that drive the business
- Produce sound financial reporting to support the management of the businesses for all areas of responsibility.
- Contribute to the annual budget and quarterly forecasts
- Production of the weekly estimated results and other KPIS
- Analyse variances utilising relevant management accounting methodology
- Prepare forecasts and budgets
The ideal candidate for the Assistant Accountant will be CIMA/ACCA studier or AAT qualified and have excellent excel skills. You will be an excellent relationship builder
