Hays are currently working in partnership with a leading property management company in order to assist them in the recruitment of an AR Specialist. You will work closely alongside the credit controllers to ensure that all sales invoices are processed in a timely manner and that cash is accurately posted and recorded.

This is the perfect role for an experienced AR professional, looking for a role where you can further develop and progress. This company will provide study support and clear progression routes either to a Regional Accountant or Transactional Supervisor role.

Key duties include:

• Upload a number of bank statements on a daily basis
• Post and allocate receipts from bank statements
• Post cash from cash and credit card sheets from regional offices accurately
• Cancel DD returns and cheques on tenants' accounts liaising with credit controllers
• Produce all periodic invoices (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual)
• Produce all Insurance invoices on an annual basis
• Produce all monthly utility invoices as per the collectors' rounds from each region
• Process the Common area recharges to the Nominal Ledger (Part of utilities)
• Check ad hoc charges, credits and write-offs from all regions before posting
• Posting cheques and bacs refunds
• Posting journals for car parking, cash to be allocated and other ad hoc income
• Resolving unallocated and unidentified cash with the credit controllers
• Updating debtors' reports and distributing them fortnightly

Experience in property finance would be beneficial but not essential, however experience in sales ledger and raising nominal ledger journals is essential.
