Head of Commercial Finance

Robert Half are working with a leading South West brand to help recruit a Commercial Head of Finance. The role is a national role, but can be based in several offices across the UK, including two in the South West and one in the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

• National role reporting to the FD, this role will include several days working on site at various national locations.
• Highly commercial role, this role will act as a business partner to senior stakeholders across the business unit providing commercial leadership and challenge to business plans.
• Helping drive the growth of the function including developing more attractive commercial pricing proposals.
• Establish relationships with key customers both internal and external.
• Lead contract negotiations with key customers.
• identify and implement profit improvement initiatives.
• Manage numerous projects on an ad-hoc basis.

Person Specification

• Fully qualified accountant.
• Demonstrable commercial experience.
• Demonstrable experience working with challenging stakeholders at a very senior level.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong networking ability.
• Strong negotiating skills and strategic nous.
• Costing and experience working on large contracts preferred
