Senior Accountant

Independent Certified Accountancy Practice seeks Senior Accountant to join their growing small team in Sutton in Ashfield.

In this role, you will be responsible for sole trader, partnership and limited company clients, handling all aspects of accountancy work for them including annual and monthly accounts preparation, self-assessment tax returns, VAT returns and corporate tax submissions. You will undertake the more complicated accounts work yourself, whilst reviewing the smaller jobs prepared by more junior staff members in the office.

You will have likely have several years' experience in an accountancy practice or bookkeeping role and must be able to prepare accounts for sole traders and limited companies for partner review without supervision. Holding a relevant qualification such as the AAT or ACCA will be an advantage but is not essential provided you have enough experience.
