My client is a fast growing Financial Services organisation, with an outstanding reputation. Following a recent internal move, they are now looking to recruit a high calibre Finance Director for their Mortgages business to drive the business forward alongside the Divisional MD.
You will act as the strategic financial lead for the business, providing high quality financial information and control, as well as strategic and commercial insight for the division.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership to the Finance and business community, to improve financial performance.
- Challenge decision making and provide guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers.
- Develop high level credibility with the senior leadership team and wider bank senior stakeholders.
- Lead financial input on new product pricing, product formulation and retention strategy.
- Preparation of forecast positions on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, looking at spending trends, cost pressures and income deviations.
- Oversee financial reporting and control of the division, supporting Group Finance in new initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute, articulate and technically strong leader. Confident and with the gravitas to manage across all levels of seniority is essential, as is previous experience of working in a Financial Services environment and exposure to the Mortgages market.
