As a result of sustained and significant growth, this highly profitable business now has an exceptional opportunity for a forward-thinking and ambitious Finance Director to join the business and provide strategic support to the organisation and its’ Board.

Key responsibilities:

Support the CEO and COO in forward planning, portfolio appraisal and organisational strategy.

Effectively manage working and development capital, building strong relationships with external funding providers.

Monitor finance covenants and identify/manage any ‘pinch points’

Play a significant role in the negotiation of key strategic contracts and commercial agreements.

Monitor and report on the ROI for both internal and external projects.

Act as an ambassador for the company and provide strong and effective leadership.

Work with the specialist internal teams to ensure the integrity of financial and non-financial MI

Oversee all aspects of financial and legal compliance including tax and the annual financial statements.

Work with the Financial Controller to produce timely management information which is appropriate for both Board and external stakeholder reporting.

Essential requirements:

Possess a full CCAB qualification

Experience of working within a fast-moving, process-driven environment

Demonstrate significant strategic involvement in a dynamic, results-orientated environment

A track record of successful project delivery

High levels of personal drive and flexibility

The ability to set targets and lead/motivate/influence others in the achievements of these.
