Group Financial Controller

Summary of Role:
Suiting an energetic, dynamic and fully self-sufficient FC/GFC, who can pick up the job from an empty chair. This is a multisite business and a quick audit of controls of US and Europe offices will undoubtedly reveal some opportunities.
Being a cost cutter by nature, you will be well on your way to saving your own salary in 6 months. Since no variance analysis has been done for a while, a good analyst will find a number of rich opportunities.
Whilst good EQ is essential, a controlling nature with grip is more important. You will enjoy reporting upwards and will have the ear of the chairman and the group FD.
CPA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (first time passes) with bachelor’s degree is required. A scope to move to London HQ could be part of your career plan.
Topping up your suntan or getting some skiing in is an optional extra as travelling to Mexico and Canada is part of the job.
