Senior Finance Assistant

I am currently recruiting for an organisation in Coventry, who are looking for a Senior Finance Assistant to join their close-knit team and support the month end and accounting function. The team require a good personality fit, along with the ability to support other aspects of finance when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Support month end procedures by performing necessary reconciliations, producing relevant reports and producing a preliminary set of management accounts for review.

Reconcile the bank statements to ensure cash visibility

Maintain the Sales and Purchase ledgers, and produce VAT returns

Provide required analysis to help decision making

Ensure that procedures are in place to allow a consistent and efficient performing finance function

Ad hoc finance-related queries as required

Key Attributes:

AAT Qualified

Experience in working with Management Accounts

Personable and good communication
