As established Insurance managing agent based in the City, this company has built up an enviable reputation in sports and leisure insurance over the past 30 years. The Group provides insurance and related services to amateur sports, operating in several countries
The Assistant Accountant role is will be based in the City and will join a two member finance team and will report to the Financial Controller.
Tasks:
Responsible for posting into the ledger (SAP)
Responsible for manual input into insurance systems ie Allocation of payments, claims payments
Be responsible for bank reconciliations
Daily banking
Claims and AP payments
Maintenance of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Be responsible for credit control, sending out monthly broker statements, chasing payments from Brokers and liaising with Underwriters
Assist Financial Controller with monthly balance sheet reconciliations
