Assistant Tax Manager

Our Client a major National Firm with offices based in Birmingham have a vacancy for an assistant tax manager to join their expanding team  to deliver a high quality tax service to entrepreneurial businesses and private clients. The team is achieving success and is growing hence there is a real career progression opportunity.  

We are looking for someone who has the ability to focus on advisory work within the role (with the appropriate training and support). Your primary focus will be on delivering a high quality tax advice, whilst also having a role in managing existing client relationships and actively pursuing new opportunities, thus helping to generate advisory work from new clients. 

You will be able to demonstrate a track record of experience in practice at a tax senior level and be looking for a step up in responsibility or be currently at supervisor, assistant manager or manager level perhaps in a smaller firm or in a larger  firm where you are not able to progress.

You may be qualified by experience or ATT / ACA and CTA (or on your way to starting / completing CTA) but have the necessary practical experience to be able to take on this role. You should also be personable and professional in your approach and be looking to progress in your career.
