We are currently looking to recruit for a Group Reporting Accountant for a large business based in Blackburn. The role will report into the Financial Controller and have direct exposure to the senior management team across the organisation both in the UK and overseas.
The role will involve: -
* Preparation of the month end financial statements across multiple sites
* Manage the intercompany reconciliations and re-charges
* Assist with the company HMRC/VAT payments and statutory reporting deadlines
* Manage the reporting the month end budgets/forecast position and investigate variances
The successful candidate will be nearly or newly qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and already have gained some solid experience of the month end processes, either in industry or practice, in order for you to report at a high level across the group. You will use your technically accounting skills as a base from which you can confidentially report the financial reporting side of the group, including intercompany, foreign exchange and within the European reporting standards.
