A long term interim contract is available in a busy finance team for an experienced finance assistant with immediate availability, strong IT skills and excellent attention to detail. The role is based in the Immingham/Grimsby area with one of our major clients and offers contemporary offices, free car parking and a friendly environment.

THE ROLE
-The role sits within the overall finance team and will involve varied duties for both the UK and European business sites including preparing the monthly general ledger accounts reconciliations, account reconciliations for the business units and assisting the financial accounting team with month end duties. Occasionally there may be times when it is necessary to provide sickness and holiday cover for other members of the team.

THE CANDIDATE
-Already experienced in transactional accounting and with a high standard of systems literacy (particularly with Excel), you need to have immediate availability or be available on short notice to start this contract
-You might be AAT qualified/ an early CIMA/ACCA studier or perhaps taking a break in studies, but you will essentially have a keen eye for detail, the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and excellent numerical, analytical and investigative skills
-SAP experience would be desirable but not essential
