Finance Manager / Financial Controller

Due to a recent acquisition my Hertford based manufacturing client is looking to recruit a Finance Manager / Financial Controller to oversee all the finance related matters within the growing and friendly business.

Reporting to and working closely with the CFO and General Manager the Finance Manager / Financial Controller will look after all finance related duties to include:

Preparation of Management Accounts including the creation of the management accounting pack, to analyse and interpret results and trends to enable decision making, develop KPI's, to create and manage financial controls to ensure they are robust to allow for future growth, to be hands on with Accounts receivable and accounts payable duties, to manage and optimise cash-flow, to collate the payroll information for a small headcount ready for the outsourced payroll provider with a view to eventually bringing in-house. This is a small growing business and requires a candidate with the appetite to get involved in other non-finance related Ad-hoc duties.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant, CIMA, ACA or ACCA with a slight preference for CIMA.

It is very important that you are a likeable and approachable individual who wants to help an exciting new business with a very good product grow and develop.

You will have good Excel skills and will be able to run with projects and work using your own initiative.
