A new permanent opportunity to work for a prestigious Newcastle based business in a corporate environment with extensive senior stakeholder liaison.
The role is responsible for promoting an effective corporate governance framework which maintains ethical standards, and ensures stakeholder interests are protected, and seeks to match and hopefully exceed their expectations.
You will need a background in risk management ad/or assurance, and very well developed communication skills both written and verbal to ensure you can be effective and successful in this role. Overseeing meetings with senior management and offering support and advice as well as the development and implementation of a control risk assessment environment.
You will have good planning and organisational skills, confidence to deal with senior stakeholders, and clarity of communication, that lends itself well to a busy environment. Ideally a qualified accountant, or with the right experience and knowledge and a proven track record in a similar role.
