Interim Group Financial Controller

This Interim Group FC role has arisen within this large corporate organisation due to notice period cover and is for a 3-6 month period starting as soon as possible.

Reporting to the Group FD and working within a large established team your key responsibilities during this period will include:

Consolidation of the financial reporting from the three Business Units of the Group
Production of the management information to support the decision making of the Group Board of Directors.
Managing the financial accounting and reporting process including ensuring strong balance sheet controls and processes are in place
Managing the preparation of key external reporting requirements including interim and year end accounts, city presentations and supporting analysis
Management reporting, budgeting & forecasting and variance analysis as well as short, medium and long term planning
Consolidation of actual, budget and forecast results across the Group
Improving and streamlining the reporting processes to enhance the quality and speed of production of Management Information to the Board
Delivering cash flow and net debt forecasting as well as improving working capital and cash management processes across the Group
Acting as a sounding board and centre of technical excellence to support the divisional finance teams, including involvement in accounting system updates
Primary point of contact with external auditors, including managing timetables, the half year review and year end audit process.

You will ideally be qualified and must have strong recent PLC reporting experience within a large corporate environment.

Ability to demonstrate experience of liaising with senior management and the proven track record of building strong relationships with professional confidence and credibility.

Some UK travel will be expected to other sites.
